Quick Trim Piece question:

Hello all,

Where would you suggest that I may find the best product, at a decent price, for the "wheel opening moulding trim" for my 69' Charger (all 4 wheel openings)?

I have yet to purchase mine and I'd rather find a good used set to clean up but that may prove to be difficult.  I do know where a set it but I'm a long ways away from that stage so I'm leaving them where they are for now.

I did read over on Moparts in the last day or so that a fella purchase some (not sure what kind of car) from Josh's Muscle Car Parts and was quite pleased.  Also not sure about the type of restoration he is doing.

I do know Year One offers them also.

I haven't tried Year One yet because they'll probably be kinda pricey. But, it's nice to know that they'll have them if I'm not having much luck elsewhere.

I bought a set for my 68.  It was a little tough to get to line up.  You may be better off with a good set of used.  I have a set but I would rate them as driver quality at best.  I wanted a better look for my car, with the fit problems, I wish I had either gone with a better used set (not easy to find) or filled the holes when I did body work and redrill matching the new moldings after a bit of shaping.

Isn't the wheel opening trim another one of those pieces that is on hold now since the fire at Metro Parts?
