I have a 68 coming this weekend and I want to deocde the fender tag....I am going to need most of the parts for the car too as this one is pretty rough.... :icon_smile_question: :icon_smile_question:

OK, I just searched for all the past threads about the '68 Charger registry.  Seems Jim Shine was going to start it up with Troy's help, but nothing was ever finalized.   :'(  :-\

I might regret asking this, but what would it take to make the '68 Charger registry a reality :icon_smile_question:

Time. Probably a little dedication wouldn't hurt.

Not to mention a miracle.   ::) The directNIC site won't let you create an account to view information about that domain.  :eyes:

I just did a quick search on dnsstuff.com and the domain name is available.  It expired a couple of weeks ago.

It's not exactly "available". There's a grace period to allow the current owner to renew after it expires.

Hmmm...OK, I'll see what it will take to bring back the 68 Charger registry.

I also see that www.1968chargerregistry.com isn't taken either and that would follow the convention used by the '69 and '70 Charger registry.

Correct, I meant to say "almost" available.  There is a 30 day grace period for the owner to renew then a 5 day deletion period. Sorry about that.
