Finally I got the call from the shipper to pick up my 1969 Charger SE at the port, when heading down there I couldent wait to get behind the wheel of my 69 Charger, the trip was 325 miles so I had time to think about it(even got a job driving a truck down so I saved allot of petrol money there).
I dident arrive to the shipper until midnight(since I had to pick that truck up) but it was worth it when I turned the key and herd her roar. I headed to the petrol station and filled her up(and took the first photo, i did take sevral more while driving). When I finally was heading for home I did discover that the Rear and tranny was built for race, when I drove faster then 45mph the engine had like 5000, great its either a hell of petrolbill(or destroyed engine) or it gonna take like a 12 hours to get home, I did choose the time option :coolgleamA:
Got late for work (with 3 hours, luckily my boss was sick) dident sleep at all worked all day and then drove it home(tired as hell but happy).

The car looks like the seller said and powerwindows and headlightdoors work, my mistake was not to ask about the rear but that's a pretty easy fix, the tranny I have to think about. But im happy about the buy since I got a turn the key SE for $14500, now the money spending can begin :icon_smile_big:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Thanks. The 4.10 gears  in 8.75 with sure-grip rearend with Detroit locker center section, 727 manual valve body with B&M 'Hammer Shifter'will have to go, sure really funny to race beemers and plastic cars but i wanna ride this car for long rides in 55-60mph without 10 gallons per mile, mayby just change the gears and keep it as it is for a year or two :icon_smile_tongue:
