69 was Y2 Sunfire Yellow.  I think the same color as the 68 SS-1Sunfire Yellow.  And Y2 Sunfire Yellow was available in 70.  But Y1 was also available in 70.  Depending on whether its a 70 Plymouth or a Dodge, the color is Lemon Twist or Top Bananna (not sure which was which).  But I think these are both Y1.  The Y1 is definitely a brighter Yellow.   But not as bright as the current Yellow on Rumblebees and Vipers.  The Y2 Sunfire yellow is a lot paler than the later yellows but tends to wash out in bright sunlight-----looks a lot better in the shade.  There have been pictures of 69 Chargers painted the Top Bananna color on EBAY before and they looked pretty good.  It won't be correct for a 69 but unless you are doing a numbers matching thing, who cares.  You need to paint it whatever you want it to be.  It's your car.

thank you it is a numbers matching but only a small block, just a charger, but i want to have it look original , lemon twist or top banana seems the way to go unless the the rumble bees have a nicer colour can any one tell me a little bout that and what that is called , thanks
