CAN I GET A LOST TITLE

Does anyone know if you can get a title for a charger that was lost many moons ago..

The car was sold for person to person to person and so on years ago and the title was never giving to the new owners..

no idea who owned the car over the years

Is there anyway to get a title for a car like this ??

The cars has all the tags and vin # plates :brickwall:

you need to talk to the DMV state regulations vary.  You may be able to get a salvage title.  Many states only require a bill of sale after a car is so old.  Good Luck!

In Wshington, if you know someone who runs a tow company, they can apply for a title.  That is how they are able to auction off abandoned vehicles that they impound

I was going to try to only use a bill of sale, but in NJ it has to be 1972 or older and I have a 1974.
