NEW YORK (AP) -- Americans always seem to want more pro football. Yet it's the folks abroad who might be getting an extra taste of the NFL in the future.

Although talks are extremely preliminary, the NFL is investigating adding a 17th regular-season game and playing it outside the United States. The extra game would take the place of one in the preseason, allowing every team to play once abroad without sacrificing a home match.

That works for me. They need to shorten up the preseason in my opinion.

And the teams have been playing outside of the US for years for certain preseason games. My Steelers played in Japan a couple years ago.

The more regular season games, the better.  You just cannot have too much NFL in your lives.

In my opinion we need LESS NFL. Funniest thing I ever saw was 2 Football players in full gear fist fighting ROFLMAO ! Like they were going to hurt anyone. Kinda like fighting over the internet.Try Hockey, that's a man's sport. GO PENS !!!!

The same can be said about hockey players except they're not smart enough to keep their helmets on.

There has been talk of an NFL team in Toronto for a number of years.  I just can't picture it being the same. 

We used to go to Buffalo or Detroit to take in a game.  Always had a blast except the Monday night game in Buffalo in November many years ago -  we froze our asses off because we had no antifreeze.  It turns out they don't serve beer because the game is televised nationally.

Let's hope the players union fights that. The last thing these guys want, is to have to play in Europe a week before playoff time. The NFL is the top dog. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. David Stern has really screwed up the NBA, and Hockey is a third world sport around here now (and I like Hockey). Let's hope the NFL learned from them.
