In 1997, [Jay] Leno established the Fred J. Duesenberg Scholarship at McPherson College to provide financial assistance for automotive restoration students. One year later, Leno combined forces with Popular Mechanics magazine to provide a full scholarship each year for a sophomore restoration student.

I know of the last 4 years students to get that scholarship, and none of them are on the board. In fact, i dont think any of them like mopars....haha

But I did graduate from that college.

Too bad you can't get funds to restore a historical vehicle like you can a historical building, eh? I'd much rather see our tax money go toward that rather than buying plasma TVs for welfare recipients or corporate tax breaks.

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

id rather see money for historical vehicles too. hell I'd be satisfied if ND or MN would get a historical license plate that dident have stupid rules saying you can only drive in parades and thats it.
