I know you have to remove the centerlink to change the oil pan gasket on the 73 cars. I'm still bolting on finished suspension parts to my 73. I didn't know whether I should go ahead and put the centerlink, idler, and pitman arm. I'm installing a newly rebuilt 400 motor, when I finish everything, but I don't want to put on the centerlink if it's going to interfere with engine installation. Will it?

the center link can be in place & still install the engine no prob any virtical movement in the idler arm & it should be replaced, if the end joint in the pitman is loose it needs to be replaced ,if it is tight it should be ok
