why couldn't the SE roof have been added by the dealer as well?  they have body shops.  really dude, what's the other logical option?   the only other way it could be this way is if they swapped VIN tags or faked build sheets.

buildsheet says WH23, so is hardtop. No SE... SE states WP29 ALLWAYS

I'd love to see more information on that thing. IF it is what he says, that sucker is RARE!

My understanding is that the S/E top AUTOMATICALLY makes the car a WP29.

That is truly a COOL car though. But I would have to see documents before I made a commitment to buy the car

Im not so sure.  Seems like maybe the spring special Chargers should be in the same category but were coded as a hardtop WH23 car.  I cant really remember now.

yes, Spring Specials is a package to HARDTOPS, but those equipped with opera window without louvers use same SE hardware on quarter glass except the louvers and 3/4 roof, since was full vinyl roof. They still keep WH23

and I say THOSE EQUIPPED with opera windows because opera window treatment was OPTIONAL on Spring Special.

I still think SE quarter glass and vinyl top treatment was added on car since upper panels doesn't match on front and rear, and is not complete, still rest the rocker wider molding, SE tail lights and grilles and of course the right VIN LOL

Could it be also Spring Special converted to SE ? who knows, but if so, then complete interior from seats covers, carpet, dash etc... were changed same as front upper panels and opera frame for louvers, and full vinyl removed to add 3/4 treatment

thats what I'm trying to figure out, if you look at the build sheet I posted (from the Ebay auction) I see nothing about a SE roof. IMO if it is legit (i.e. factory built) there would have to be a option code for it similar to M07 for spring specials. I'm not saying its not possible just if your gonna make a claim about it being a factory SE/Rallye i would like to see some proof thats all.

I WANT TO BELIVE

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

i thought about that but no A77 or M07 on the build sheet

Hey, Its gotta be that kids car that was buried up in the ARctic deep freeze, he finally went on an expidition and got the car,

Early thaw because of global warming, this is the 1 of 1 car that was up in the north in the frozen-in cabin or whatever, remember that thread?

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

I'm not codes expert so I didn't check at, so that's why I just posted a thought :)
