So I pull into the Mobil station in the charger with wife and baby..... and the place is hummin because its the cheapest gas in town at $3.09...so I pull behind a black chevy suv with California plates and the chick is swiping her credit card  at the pump so I turn off the charger and wait..... she has really baggy green shorts and a loose t shirt and sunglasses and pretty much looks a mess.....so Im yacking with the wife and she says, "Hey, that's Renee Zellweger." .....So I take a second look and know what? It was!  She finished pumping, got some hand cleaner from the dispenser in her hands but there were no paper towels....... she kinda left in a huff. The wife got a picture of her as she was leaving on the cell phone cam. The one thing I noticed was she's like so skinny, her legs had no fat at all........just muscle and skin....and there was no makeup......and she could have used some......but then again, Im sure I could too  :P . So I guess I maybe expect her to look like she does in the movies when she's pumping gas  :scope:  :shruggy: ..... It's just weird whenever I see a celebrity out here....thought I'd share

bull

Really? Are you sure? If so, two questions: where's the picture and why were you in California? Oh, wait, I get it. Duh. California plates in NY, right? The Charger probably got more attention than she did. Were her eyes all squinty and her forehead all shiney like a freshly-waxed apple? That seems to be her look.

I saw a woman once in Eastern Oregon who had a remarkably uncanny resemblance to Daryl Hannah. I asked her the standard question: "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Daryl Hannah?" She of course said yes and that's all that was said but after she left I got to thinking that maybe it really was her. I mean what better way to walk around in anonymity outside Hollywood than posing as a look-alike? All you'd have to endure is a few dumb questions once in a while and no one would be the wiser.

The only celebrity (not sure he can be called that) I have seen and met is Steven Greenberg (sp?). For people who don't know, he was the writer and I believe producer of the song Funkytown. I think he also played a few instruments in the song as well.

Which Renee do you like better? Thick & Tasty or Thin & Lovely?

ooooh, she looks great on the leftside.

Chargerguy74

I actually prefer the left pic. Hmmm, my biggest celebrity....I've bumped into Dennis Gage once at a car show, hit him a little hard though (not intended). Cool guy, actually stuck around and talked with people in the parking lot.

I worked on a movie, and had my hair cut by a lady that had done her hair.  While I was there I held a personal video camera for the guy who plays "Angel" or something like that on the Buffy series.  (I didn't recognize the guy till I saw him on a TV show a few months later, still can't remember his name) it was his death scene.  I met and talked to Randy Wallace one cold morning before shooting started for about 15 minutes.  I also met another guy that I had seen before, but can't remember his name either,  I know that his character name was "Savage" and he is a big white guy that later played in Remember the Titans a few months later.  BTW, I was a stand in for a really famous actor during this movie too, but never actually got to meet the guy.

Who can guess what movie it was?

I would take the head off the thin and lovely and put it on the thick and tasty body.  Is that an option?

i met robby gordon at watkins glen race track 2 years ago,he was hanging out in the pit area, talked to me and my dad for about 20 minutes, does that count as a celeb meet?

4402tuff4u

Since we are in the celeb encounter mode, my wife and two daughters were in a NYPD Blue episode in a playground scene with Dennis Franz, Mark Gosselaar, Gordon Clapp and Henry Simmons. They got to have lunch with them and my wife and daughters told me that they were all down to earth regular guys. They even got $ 150.00 each for the shoot plus lunch - very nice lunch I should say. I could'nt go I had to work.  :-\

I met Sean Penn once... I've never liked him because of how out spoken he is... but i liked his acting. he was at a friends funeral. Any one read about Marla Ruzicka, she use to baby sit me as a kid and her mom is my God-Mother. anyway. there were a lot of famous people at her funeral but Sean Penn was the only one to go to the wake... i suppose he couldn't turn down free food... o well I thought it was cool that he stayed around to talk to people. I shook his hand despite our political differences... he seemed like an OK guy... but I still think he is to out spoken on issues he doesn't understand.

Was he dating Madona back then when you met him? You could of asked him if you could smell his hand.  :icon_smile_wink: Sorry about your friend. I agree I think he's a good actor but as soon as he starts with politics, I change the channel.

Marla was a hero of mine.  I emailed back and forth with her about 18 months ago, trying to get her to set up a paypal account so it would be easier for me to help her.  One of life's best gifts is giving society people like her -- she is sorely missed.  Kim

I was an extra in a bunch of background shots on the set of a new movie called "End Game" and stood next to Cuba Gooding Jr. (Show me the money) and Peter Greene (bad guy from The Mask).

I was watching some shooting for ER on Warner Brothers backlot in Burbank and I spoke to a couple of the extras. It really isn't a bad deal for extra (no pun intended) money. They were paid $70 a day just to show up and were fed. They were paid more if they were actually used. The amount varied depending on how visable they were in the scene and if they actually got to say any lines.

I met and spoke to Richard Kiel ("Jaws" from the James Bond movies and the big mean dude on "Happy Gilmore) at length.  Super nice guy...absolutely MASSIVE.  I'm 6'1" and go 280 pounds and the guy made me loo like a 3-year-old.  I cannot convey the hugeness of the dude enough.  His hand spanned about 10 inches from pinkietip to thumbtip.

I ain't got time for pain, the only pain I got time for is the pain i put on fools how don't know what time it is.

seen so many celebrities I cant remember half of them. Here in L.A. its no big deal and its an unspoken code that you dont bug them while theyre doing their thing - thats what tourists do.

Last one I saw was Suge Knight at a Denny's in Westwood about 2 months ago. That dude is a big mofo. He was sitting at a booth next to us with a couple of mean looking brothers and these two chicks that looked like whores.

I dont know about that Zellweger broad...shes aight but most of the time she has a look like she just ate one of those "Mega Sour" candy things.

That's so true.  E.G. I work out with Mario Lopez, who was on Saved by the Bell (AC Slater) and is now hosting a show on ESPN.  I didn't actually introduce myself until he talked to me...
