Throttle cable 2bbl vs 4bbl

I replaced my 2bbl carb and intake with a new 4bbl Holley. I need to make a change to the throttle cable. It needs to be longer if using the same bracket. I see different cables listed for a 2bbl and a 4bbl at a couple of parts stores. Is it that simple? They don't list any specifics, such as the length so I was checking with you all before I order one. This is on a 318 motor.

I will also need to lengthen the kick down linkage but I thought I would weld something up for that. Any thoughts?

the bracket to hold the cable needs to be different / closer to the carb , I have welded up longer rods to make the kickdown linkage work
