I have holley 750 sitting on my 440 - Mildly done 440  , nothing extreme  . The car sat for a few years so I thought I would try to rebuild the carb myself from the gas sitting in it . Well..   it has not run well since . I know it has to be way out of adjustment but really dont know how to set it  . what I reall cant figure out is how the choke works off the throttle . I never had a choke cable before and I have mallory unilite distributor with no vaccum advance to hook up to it. It ran great when I sat it down ( for a different reason ...  maybe elec) but now it wont run without me manually moving the choke open/shut . Did I miss some linkage to hook to the choke from the throttle side to open/close as necessary? If some one has a pic of there carb for me to use as referrence or any pointers for me then Id greatly appreciate it . Once I get this area done  , I can move on to my elec problem . Thanks in advance!!!

I can't answer the choke question because I don't run one.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
