Kick ass,
Rush are on tour this year! They went on sale today for the Cleveland,Ohio show (actually Cuyahoga Falls,Ohio, 30 minutes from Cleveland.) :METAL:
I am a huge Rush fan and this is exactly the 8th time I have seen them since my first Rush show back in 87'. I was 13 and my big brother took me. My sister in-law, me & my brother are going this time !
Here is the link to the Rush Web-Site.

:hah:  No One is opening for them, ever heard of them?
That is correct, no opening band.
From what I understand they are doing a classic set then a set of the 90's & newer Rush material.
How can you put Rush in the same category as REO ? :slap: :iamwithstupid:

Rush is up there with Sabbath & Zep man !  :Twocents:

Rush does their own show with no openers and they still rock!

I've been to their last two tours here and I hope I can go this year but it looks like it's either Rush or California beaches.

Clapton was the last I went to and yes, Clapton is God!

He was God, up until about 20 years ago, when he went all easy listening. Some blues material stuff aside, he hasn't done any relevant original material since 1975....

While agree he should rock a bit harder he still is a master. To each his own.

I'm very excited about this tour . . going to be sweet!!   I plan on going to a couple of their shows this year.  Maybe the Detroit one and then the last one in Ontario!

Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

I just bought 3 tickets for the opening night of the tour here in Atlanta.  June 13th. 2 of my brothers are going to fly into the ATL, from NY and CT,  to see the show with me.  :2thumbs:

75?

There have been many many great albums since 75. Journeyman was one of his top 10 releases. I haven't missed a tour since 1983, the Behind the Sun tour. The Cream shows at MSG were AMAZING.

Saw Clapton a week ago, he is still the man.   Wouldnt mind seeing Rush either...   :scratchchin:

To be honest I thought it was Rush also when I first read the headline. That would be cool too in my opinion.

Hey, now I'd go see Toto!  I have always loved their music, especially old Toto tunes from their first self titled album, to their fourth.  All of those are agreed CLASSICS.

Now, as for Rush- they were one of my three favorite bands when I was in high school back in the early 80's.  The only time I got to see them in concert was back home in Indianapolis, back in '85; the "Power Windows" tour, and it was at the time, the most entertaining and exciting concert I had been to.  Before that show, I had seen Loverboy, The Hooters, Van Halen, and Quarterflash.

Ahh, the memories of youth and of times long ago when you had not a care in the world.

I saw them live once in the early 90's.It was at Maple leaf gardens payed a scalper $100 for tickets 7 rows from the stage damn it was loud but an amazing show.Still the best concert i,ve ever been to and well worth the money.

dodgecharger-fan

I love RUSH.

I'm going to try and swing some tickets when they come through the area.

I'm not sure if I want to see them in Buffalo in July or wait until September and see them in London or Toronto....
