would this fit 68, anyone have picture how it looks installed

Yes it will fit a 68, but the two big round holes tell you it came off a 69 or 70
with the reverse light below the bumper, so you would have to weld them in.
I put a repop unit in mine an the fit was good.

I wonder if it is like the old repro on my '69 that was made in 1989. It is shorther than a real panel and the reproduction corners do not fit.

That guy is very steep on his estimate of what repops sell for. I just paid $283 for a front and rear repop valance set. I bought them from a guy who I believe is the same one selling repop valances for $179 on Ebay right now. He lives close to me so I get in on group buys and save a lot on shipping. You might try finding the same situation up where you live because you can save a good amount of money when you buy from a local distributor.
