Ballast resistor

Hi,
When running MSD ignition (MSD 6al+blaster coil+billet distributor) is there any problem to wire with the ballast resistor or is it best to remove the ballast resistor?
If it's ok to have the ballast resistor, what kind of resistor is the best 1 or 0,25 ohm...

the MSD systems I have used feed the power to the coil from the ign box & do not require a ballast

No ballast in that combo.
