Cost + Availibility for '70 Charger Front Windshield?

What does a front windshield typically go for on a 70 Charger. Same as all second gens? I'm guessing I'd have to find a pull off, or does anyone repro them? Completely clueless when it comes to glass. Thanks!

you can get them brand new.  they are a little less than 300 bucks, installed.  you will need to get a new seal as well. 
only thing is, as far as i know, they only come with that tinted green strip on the top.

look up any glass shop in your area and call for a quote.  quick search on the net pulled this up:

any decent glass place should be able to get glass for the car and install it. But you can also buy date coded i beleive, but its way more expensive.

I got a new PPG one for around $175. They aren't that expensive.

I got a new windshield for my 69 for $75, I can install it myself, Pilkington piece.

mine it tint and shade.....and in reply to 454 i could have put mine in myself too but the glass companies around here only charge 20.00 to install and if they break it or if it leaks its not my problem

Hey, I wished I had a quote that these guys got. I'll have to check around on my 69. At the car show in Myrtle Beach I checked with a place called "Vintage Glass". I think they have a web site. It was under $400. dollars for a brand new windshield. Later, Graig

i used a place called decorah mobile glass they are always cheaper on glass for the older stuff but higher on late model cars
