The last Auto Body Specialty rear cross member that I measured was too tall and too wide. If you pushed it up to the bottom of the frame rails, the top of the cross member was about 3/4 of an inch higher than the top of the rails. It should be flush top and bottom.   It also didn't have the steps in each end to clearance the valance corners.  The one you can get from the Paddock or whoever else is more money but is very close to original.   I repaired an original one and returned my ABS one with great hassle.

I made mine fit ....wasn't fun though.

I figured since I did the frame connectors i might as well put in some torque boxes. I put some rust encapulator on then took off the primer where the welds were gonna be then sprayed some weld thru primer then welded them in then cleaned up the welds and then primered them up.

I am hoping someday to maybe get a HEMI. If not right away a stroker or just beef up what I got. I figured If I never do at least this is done and someday maybe my son will put in more HP

Yeah, how about a Update :shruggy: :scratchchin: LEON.

Only thing I have had time to do as of late has been to undercoat the quarters and just now got done scuffing the bottom, engine bay, trunk and cabin and getting ready to shoot those areas. As soon as that is done I will post some pics.
