Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I made my own torsion bar removal tool. Easy & cheap.

Just go to a farm supply store and buy a cheap trailer hitch....any 1/4" thick flat metal 3"+ wide and angled at the end (shaped like an L). Drill holes in it and add a pair of U muffler clamps. Tightend the U clamps around the torsion bar and then hammer on the flat vertical section of the L bar to drive the torsion bar out.

I think I built mine for around $8. Works like a charm.

the easy way to remove the T bars is to undo the pivot bolt for the loer control arm & pry the arm & T bar back together
