I know this is old but I'm giving this guys phone number out if anybody needs some parts (glass, trim, panels, motors, tranny's, cars or some 392 HEMI's.    :2thumbs:

I found this older guy out of town that has lots of mopars.  :drool5: Chargers, Coronets, Darts, RR's, ect.  He also has about 6 to 10 hemi engines, most are in pieces.  He has 8 or 9  4spd cars and tons of parts.  Most of the cars are parts cars but some can be saved and I'm going to buy some of them.  :icon_smile_big:  I took some pics and will get them posted soon.  I have to go back and take a better look in a day or two, it was getting dark when I got there today.  :icon_smile_dead:  I will take alot more pics of more cars when I go back.  He also has at least 20+ 383's and at least 20+ 440's,  AND HE WILL SELL ANYTHING TO ME THAT I NEED.   :icon_smile_big: :2thumbs: :boogie:  This guy seems to be a nice guy and that's cool.  Now I can get the thumbwheel radio, headrest, gas cap, wood grain steering wheel, HEMI engine (depending on price) and some other odds and ends plus a few more cars.  Today was a good day for me.  :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:    Chuck............

If it isn't too much trouble, see if one of those dozens of 383's is an early 69 mill. 102459 is the magic sequence number... The last I heard, the engine and tranny for my car were in a pickup truck just over the border from TN in Austin, Kentucky. Maybe they installed my fender tag on it, too... :icon_smile_tongue:  Thanks in advance, man.   Kenny

I'll write that number down and do my best to look for you. I am going to help hook everyone here up that I can with parts or engines but I'm sorry to say I'm not ready to give up the location just yet.  :pity:     Chuck......... I think I'll spend a day and write down numbers.

Sounds very interesting, looking forward to the photos!   :yesnod:

How did you come to find this guy and his stash?

Forza

Feel free to let me know if he has any 68's layin around  ;D

hemigeno

That's a pretty incredible find!  There are lots of us who are curious to know whether their car's #s matching engine is in his stash, myself included (especially the hemi blocks).  It'd be great if you could post at least a partial sequence number from those blocks, and we could figure out if it's close and get back with ya.

That really is awesome!

:2thumbs:

Oh, and if any of those "junker" cars are Hemicars, you'd be amazed at how bad of a car can be saved these days.  Years back they were looked at as scrap, but the pro's can save almost anything - and the value of the end product makes it economically feasible to do that.  I know of a '70 HemiGTX that was rusted so bad it nearly broke in two pieces when they tried to load the car.  You'd never be able to tell it isn't showroom-new now...

OK guy's, I got today off so I can go back up there.  There is a 68 there that's got bad pass. side damage and had the tail cut off. There is a few 72 or 73 chargers and a 66 or 67 charger, 4 or 5  69 chargers, a 69 383 4spd coronet, ect. ect.  Most of them have been stripped and the parts are in some buildings.  The HEMI's look like 392's (I took a peek this morning) but I'll have to ask about all of the ones that are apart in the shop. I didn't ask to much last night because I did not want to look to excited.  :yesnod: I'm going to get VIN numbers off the cars and check all the motors I can for you guy's. I will then post them so I hope it helps.  He also has a 70' Challenger 6pk car that was wrecked and I think he said that 3 or 4 of the dart's were 340 cars.  So I would guess he has some 340's lying around as well.    I'LL BE BACK.   Chuck............

Look the Chargers over carefully incase there happens to be a rare one in the mix.  The sixpack Challenger should be worth big bucks if it is not too far gone to fix.  Most likely, the hemis probably will be the older ones, since they are not held as highly as the 426s, but you can still build them up for respectible performance.  Hope one is a 426 for you.  Just the stash of 440s, 383s sounds like a really good find nowdays........

And I'm back again. I just scored me a 69 wood grain steering wheel for $10, a set of headrest with the hardware in great shape for $25, and a thumbwheel radio for $30.  :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:  I didn't get numbers of engines yet but did look at the 68-70 charger V.I.N.'s.  They are H-codes and the one 68 that he has, has no numbers.  Someone bought the fender and Vin tags a while back.  I'll get some pics in a few and then have my wife E-mail them to someone here to post for us because we are dumb.  Just give me a few days to get the stuff I want and then I will give up the rest to you guys.  Oh, yes he does have some HP 383 and 440 engines.I will do my best to help anyone here out but as you can guess I'm first, and then I'm going to get some stuff for our Charger brother AirborneSilva becuase most of you guys here know what happened to him with his car.   AND IF ANY OF YOU GUYS CAN SPARE SOME PARTS ( AND SOME OF YOU KNOW YOU CAN )  :yesnod: GIVE AirborneSilva A PM AND HELP TAKE CARE OF ONE OF OUR OWN.   :pity:  THERE ARE ENOUGH GOOD PEOPLE HERE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.  THANK'S,...........CHUCK.........................
