Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Aero426

No, this is a real Petty Blue Bird, same owner for close to 30 years.

Nope, Thank the Gods, I just drove it around a couple hours ago and it was fine.
I think I would be in tears if I saw that happen to my car.  :cryin:
Geez, I really feel sorry for that guy. :pity:

He is real lucky it looks like the damage is limited to the glass,  someone could have done much worse.  I really don't understand some people, but agree this does not look random he may satatrt looking at anyone he may have pissed of that knows about his car!

Anyone know if they messed with their other Superbird, or their Daytona? Their B5 blue bird is a good looking ride as well. Sad to hear about anything happening to their wing cars. well I don't wish it on anyone, but I know that his cars are the ones his Dad used to have.

Those cars are in different locations.

69_500

Good to hear. So it was only the one car then. Which is still bad, but could have been much worse if it was all 3.

Does he have any clues as to who it was?

That's exactly what I thought when viewing those pics...as bad as the glass is, it could have easily been a ton worse!
Poor guy. :-[

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That's just sad... I feel for the owner, someone must have been pretty pissed.

He got "lucky" the back window trim wasn't ruined. I hope they find out who did it.

:icon_smile_sad: That's just WRONG!  I don't know how Ohio is but there have been problems with the little punk ricers/tuners in our area pulling things like that on some of the old school cars. There was an incident here last summer where they showed up at a local car show & go and were running keys across cars when they went past them cuz they were not allowed to participate. (was an old car show) Then to make it worse they were doing burnouts all around the show and the local cops put the breaks on the whole thing. (riuned it for everyone)

There was another superbird a 426 one that suffered a similar fate in NJ.The car had all glass smashed and car was tipped over.I heard of this and other occurances with Erics car from his friend .This RM23ROA174616 car is still hasnt surfaced.Maybe it was totalled by the insurance company back in the day
