360 headers

I have heard lots of good things about the headman headers, but I would be saving money by going with the summit headers. do any of you know what name brand the summit ones are? and what size should I get? Also do I need to get the smaller starter?

i'm not sure about headmen and summit, but i believe mine are hooker headers on my 360, i would think most are made for your regular starter, mine is. its a pain to change the starter but it could be worse i guess!

I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but I've heard good things about summit headers.  And idk about yours, but i have a 383, and when i put headers on next winter i already know i'll need a ministarter.

I just put Hooker Headers on mine. The starter fits ok but I hope I never need to change it.

My last set of Hedman headers where still fine after 25 years.  I only put a new set on because I wanted a ceramic coated set.

i have some old rusted headers on mine, fit with stock starter but changing it was not fun. mini starter fit much easier. arnt a lot of the mini "performance" starters just the stock starter from a 90's durango?

virtually all small block headers go under the center steering link Except the TTI which fit better & do not limit ground clearance butthey are more $$

I guess I'll have the mini one that went out last summer rebuilt first then

When I changed my starter into a mini, i got a problem as the ministarter was a little "fatter" than the original. Shorter yes, but fatter.. (wider) So my headers wouldnt fit properly. Had to change back to the old one to avoid farting.. Pardon my french as i am Norwegian and "under the influence"!
