Brake Booster Plate Color

I know it's supposed to be black but is it gloss, semi-gloss or satin?

Good Question.  I did some research on this before I painted mine and it looks like from what I have seen is gloss black.  I have been using a gloss black from Plastikote and it works well.  I tried the Eastwood Underhood Black and it it the same as the Plastikote but costs about double.
