More like a how to, step by step.

I'm not aware that there is such a thing.  Not a commercially available one specific to 2nd gen Chargers anyway.

Well shameless plug here, but if all goes well, and I can work out a way to get some additional shots to add to the existing footage, there will be a video covering a 69 Daytona. I know its probably not what your talking about, but it will be a reference video for doing a correct restoration on a Daytona. Which will entail all the little details as overspray, date coding, and the likes.

Not just to encourage your shameless plug, but you should put up a list of what you have available.  I know there are a couple I'd like.  The Charlie Glotzbach interview comes to mind.

I did post those in the for sale section a few months back. :) I thought you would have seen that section with all the time you spend on here.

I missed that one.  Sometimes I hit the want ads regularly though and sometimes not at all.
And you're right, I need to get a life.  This is a good night to start.  (for the record, I had this week off and it turned too cold again to do squat but play on this thing so it makes me seem even worse than usual  :icon_smile_big:)

Like I have a lot of room to talk, I think I'm on here a lot. And I think that my wife would agree. Even if I only have 9 days of log on time. I know I spend a lot more time that that working on things with cars. IE video's, photo's, documenting 500's and such. :)

But even on the daytona most of the floor pan work and body panels are for the most part the same arn't they.  I think for what i need reference to would have nothing to do with the smooth rear window.  Other than the rear window of my car did take alot of water damage and there is no bottom rail left, lol.

Your correct the trunk area is the same, other than a few details such as wing braces, and wing washers, and a few extra holes for a 2nd jack. Other than that, the trunk area is the same, oh and the hole to get into the trunk is much smaller.

Cool would be very interested in the video when you are done with it i can give you my email or you can just look me up or something when your done.  I would be very greatful for your help.

Thanks

I just started working on the project, so it will be several more months until there is a completed project. Also will have to work out the overall details on marketing it with the actual individual who shot the video. The video work was done over 10 years ago.

That Youtube Video was great anyway :icon_smile_big:

We video'd the ENTIRE resto on my '70 Charger R/T. Something like 4 tapes in all. Some parts can get a little boring, but even the candid stuff is pretty funny.
Mine was done about 10 years ago, too.
