Just wondering what people thought of these wheels for my 73 SE.  The car will be black w/ black vinyl top.  I plan to get 15x7 for the front and 15x8 for the rear.

GAAAH!!! MY EYES! somebody give me a knife to stab my eyes out!  :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

Those rims are absolutely hideous on everything they are put on. Ive seen them on half dozen cars and almost puked each time.

Put some steelies on it or something.

i can't think what they might look good on...
sorry not my taste..
I'd say keystone classics, slots or maybe centerlines, beside the more obvious choices like TTIIs, Cragers and the stock/optional mopar rims..

Can you post some pics of your car(or tell me where to find a pic on this site) and we can look at other choices for the applica?

But if your heart's set on them, don't let us stop you.  Then again, maybe you should take our advice.

You asked.

Not my thing, but you aren't building "Your" Charger for us.   Build what you like, that's what makes building cars fun.   Besides, if you buy them, then decide they aren't for you, sell em'....  Nothing says you "THIS IS THE ONLY SET OF WHEELS YOU WILL EVER BUY!!  IF YOU SELL THEM, THE HEAVENS WILL RAIN DOWN FROM THE SKY AND GOD WILL KILL YOUR PUPPY!!!!"

Seriously though, its your car, do what you want, and enjoy it.      ;) :icon_smile_cool:

My opinions about what would look good on a 3rd gen Charger from American Racing.

Sorry mopar brother but I must agree with the majority. They don't seem to look very good on this type of car. Hey but what do I know, it's your car and do it how you want it done. Unless you are going for the factory resto look put on whatever you want.

Man some of you guys are brutal! I think those wheels would look better on a truck than a car. Thats my opinion.

They are definately unique. I'ld have to see them on the car though. I'm gonna go with something like these.

1973_WP29P

I wish I could see these on a 3rd generation to get a better idea how it would look.

The car had magnum 500's on it when I bought it years ago.  I didn't like the looks of them, so I traded them for a set of Crager SS's.  After I got them, I didn't like them on it either.  I sold the Cragers and bought some aluminum slots which I loved.  I then parked the car and used the wheels on something else.  They went with the other car years ago (boot kicking butt).

I also like the looks of the Torque Thrust wheels.  My original choice was to go with a set of rally wheels, which might be what I go with.

Please keep the comments coming.

Just my opinion.. I like factory wheels on mopars... Rallye's, Magnum's, Cop wheels, and my personal favorite.. just steel wheels with dog-dishes.  Those aren't bad looking wheels, but to me just don't say mopar, the only aftermarket wheel I would consider for a mopar is the Torque Thrust 2 wheels, I think they are nice looking. like I said just my opinion..... and an opinion is like an ass hole... everyone's got one and think everyone else's stink, LOL.

At the risk of piling on, those are some really ugly wheels. But, it's your car, if you like them, screw everybody else. Personally, I think slots, centerlines, and "steelies" are ugly and you see plenty of those around.

Rubberduck

No - No - No - please don´t do that.

But it´s on you of course.
