last fire up for the old 318

Well, after sitting dormant for over 6 months I decided to fire up the old 318 in my 68 Charger one more time before pulling it out. Unbelieveably it started fairly easily. It has an ersom cam, aluminum 4 barrel intake, eddy 4 barrel, and open headers. Please excuse the wife, she always giggles when I ask her to try and be serious...

I have a 71 440 that will be dressed as a 68 440, an 18 spline 4 speed, and 3:54 geared dana 60 that will be going in. The 318, 23 spline 4 speed, and 8 3/4 rear will be retired as floor space wasters...

Sounds real good!!     Don't dis the small blocks. They're strong. You can do alot with them.

Nice sounding charge-it. I had to fire my little motor up today too. Nice weather and it sounded so good  .
