:smilielol:........Bet on them loosing fans. They better get Hamlin & Stewart's contracts signed. If the Toyota's don't do squat at least they will have to stay there...HAHAHA!

Yep...I'm a big Smoke fan, and even though I don't necessarily have a problem with Toyota being in NASCAR, Tony  driving one just doesn't seem right.  :rotz:

I'm with ya! I'd hate not to be able to wear my Tony Stewart shirt anymore!

Now I'm gonna have to find a new favorite driver, Hamlin was. I wonder how much more money Toyota is giving the team.

I guess enough to make them swallow their pride.  :pity:

pretty much sucks, There used to be SOME resemblance of integrity in the sport, 3 championships. wins by two of the three teams and not to mention the same two are most likely gonna be racing for the championship, and you change manufacturers to one that has SUCKED so far? WTH?!?!?   :shruggy:

It HAS to be $$$$$$$$$$  :Twocents: :Twocents: :Twocents:  Any shot at credibility for Joe Gibbs has been shot into pieces and from what Kyle the shrub said, it's a done deal.  :rotz: :rotz: :rotz: :rotz: :rotz:

As much as I like Smoke, I just can't cheer for toyotas! I can't! Hearing that Penske may merge with Waltrip's team!

I may just quit watching all together!

The70RT

Doesn't really suprise me. As soon as Bobby Labonte won a championship with Pontiac Gibbs left them hanging and went to Chevrolet. That was Pontiac's main team. Pontiac eventually gave it up a couple years later.

wonder what Joe thinks of his new driver now...  letting the cat officially out of the bag before the press conference...  there's that maturity level coming all out    :slap: :smilielol: :rotz:

So they made it official today...not that it was the best kept secret to begin with....

I laugh how everyone goes gah gah over Kyle Busch. He's not a horrible driver but i doubt he would be as good as he is without Hendrick? I doubt he'll be much of a contender next year when Gibbs goes to toyota. Can't wait for some wins out of Jr. once he gets the power of Hendricks cars he'll make an impact.

I think Mikey should give up while he can. He is just making more of a fool of himself now. The only thing worse is listening to him announce a race

If I remember correctly that Warren guy was fired cause he F-ed up the cars.  Evernham has been struggling this year because the models they were basing their data and engineering off of were waaay off.  And guess who was in charge of that?  I believe he was suspended when Ray discovered the models were wrong and then fired him when he found out that it was Warren who screwed up.  The Evernham cars now are based on last years models which is why they've started to turn around a little and at least be moderatley competitive.  Smart move by MWR hiring this guy.  "Hey we suck now but wait till you see us after we hire this guy!"  They aren't gonna make any races.

When I was just a very young lad I looked up and told my dad, a bareback rider's what I wanna be.  I want the whole world to know about me.  In the rodeo arena I'll make my stand.  I wanna be a rodeo man.  I'll come flyin' from the chute with my spurs up high, chaps and boots reachin' for the sky.  Spurin' wild with my head throwed back, you'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.  You'll ask 'Who's that,' well that's Bareback Jack.

He will go straight to the back along with every other Toyota. They always do.

Next year they will have Stewart back there to help keep them company. I do think it is funny how Stewarts contract is up at the end of 2008. And as soon as Gibbs anounced the move to Toyota, Stewart himself stopped contract extension talks. I hear RCR calling for him after the 08 season.

I saw that as well. Funny how he said he had a tire blow, and that is what caused the wreck. The car did not shoot up the track like it always does when you cut a tire. He just looked like he can not drive, and lost it.
