look closely at the fender tag, maybe chris can help. i've never seen stuff like this..
1. A06(doesn't exist???)
2. N41 on the fender tag
3. D32 put on there twice
4. B04 would be november 4 1969, the 246 VIn is a pretty late 1970 car if i'm not mistaken
5. a 7 digit order number??
6. isn't paint codes for 1970 EB5 not GB5??
7. M26 wheel lip moldings on a fender tag? come on

Defineitely not correct. My C11 (Dec 11th) built Charger form the same plant has the last 6 in the vin# 173XXX. Whoever
went to the trouble to make this tag sure messed it up.

A bad tag...too many mistakes and wrong coding.

       all the St Louis tags i have seen .... have inspection letters punched through the tag ,    normally it looks to be a letter A &  two vertical bars that leave a depression at one side .

They're not getting a stolen car. As long as the VIN is present, the car is legit. Whether or not the future owner cares about the tag, is up to that person...that is of course if the buyer knows it's a fake.

It's just a red flag is all.  The ad portrays the car as a 383 column shift automatic so it isn't like they are trying to pass off a fender tag with a bunch of options that would really inflate the value of the car.  It's just that having such a badly done tag should make prospective bidders want to investigate the car with a little more critical eye.

i honestly can't believe i noticed this twice in one day. here is another 70 just listed, with an OBVIOUS fake fender tag. S23? no such thing. B31 must be homemade brakes..and i'd love to have an FV2 paint code. whatever that is. where are these jerkoffs getting this ridiculous crap made.. can't this be illegal??

What the heck.  If they are going to make these fake tags, why not at least make some of the codes be actual Charger codes?   Are they just some take off another car and they just used a philips and ba da bing, fender tag.  Why are they even bothering with a photo of the tag, . . . seems kinda stupid.
