Daytona R/T SE

Several years ago when the Mopar nationals was still in Indy, A guy had a big box of owner's manuals he was selling. He said they came from Grand Spalding Dodge in Chicago. I bought two of them, one for each of my '69 Chargers.

Tonight I'm rooting around in my desk drawer and I run across these two owner's manuals.

I open up the first one-it's still in it's clear plastic folder-it's in good shape-nothing unusual about it-until I look at the Business reply mail card that is addressed to the Airtemp division-something you would drop in the mail to have a salesman contact you about air conditioning your home, car, business etc. with Chrysler Airtemp air conditioning.

Scrawled across this card in what looks like ball point pen is  XX29L9B239392

So does this car still exist? Is it a C500 or a Daytona ? Anybody here own it?

Inquiring minds want to know... :shruggy:

...He carefully slips the manual and it's airtemp card back into it's folder....

The only information that I have for XX29L9B239392 is that it is a known 500. I saw it at a show once, but it as before 1994. Which is when I really started writing down information on each and every 500/Daytona that I saw.

It is definatley a 500, not a Daytona though.

Cool, it could still be out there...

I would say yes. I didn't have any notes on the car as in it being in horrible shape or anything. So I'd say that yes it is still out there.
