Ebay test listing?

Has anyone else noticed these?  What is it, and why do people bid on them?  It just says

Dodge : Charger eBay test listing in the heading and:
trece si asta for the item description...  here is an example  Item #  250086635629

And they are listed almost completely together in a row and by seperate user names...   ???

I looked at that too...here is what e-bay says.....

On occasion, eBay will run auctions to test various functionality on the site. This is one of those auctions. These are always titled "Test Item; Please Do Not Bid" or some variation of this. These auctions are not selling anything - they are merely tests of the site or system. Please do not bid on these auctions. Thanks for your cooperation and support!   :icon_smile_big:

I wonder why they have to use a phoney user name everytime insted of just been Ebay MAster user or what ever ???
