It is not obvious that you are not worried. It is on the other hand a -tell- that you come back.

I'm certainly not "great" but make no mistake about who I am.  When I fire back at your insults, many of you cry foul.  Poor Babies!  Let me make this perfectly clear.  I don't care what you think or feel about me or my Company!  I could close the "restoration" part of my business tomorrow and it wouldn't affect me one bit.  Like I said before, I do it as my passion, for this Industry and to help those who genuinely appreciate our efforts.  Your threats of "boycotting" me is a complete joke.  Some of you who actually "love to hate me" wouldn't patron anything that we provide anyway!  I have no idea why some use garbage threats (as leverage) in thinking that I will cower down to your insults.  Not a chance!  

Be glad you have the internet to play your games and act all big & TUFF.  I would LOVE to stand face to face with ANY of you "big shots" to see if you had the guts to act the same in person.  I can absolutely, positively GUARANTEE that I would.

Time for a commercial:  I have an NOS, hand made, gauge pod assy, "TURBINE INLET TEMP", from a Turbine car, in case anyone knows someone that needs something like that for their collection of unobtanium MoPar goodies!  Have a few other things, too.  Service manual, drivers manual, etc.   
I promise to put any monies obtained right into the thirsty race car!

Wow... a few of you long timers here have ruined this thread.  You do it all the time and I wish you would stop.   
Perhaps seeking some professional help will alleviate the problems you are experiencing. 

The turbine cars are such an interesting topic.  A good friend of my family worked at Chrysler on the program and gave me a book  that Chrysler published - documenting the turbine cars history. Lot's of interesting pics of where the turbine engine ended up incl the f body.  Trucks, mid 70's b bodies and more.   Play nice and maybe I will post of some of the pics.

As for our contributions to the hobby, dave, we ARE the hobby.  If all of our nothing contributions were taken away in an instant there would be no reason for ECS to exist and no hungry masses for your great contributions. 

I can assure you that my comments were not intended to disparage those who constitute this "Hobby".  I can also say that the "Hobby" aspect of ECS is not the part that supports our existence.  THAT part of the Company is my passion and a loss leader for MANY of the products we offer.  I was simply making the point that there is no need to constantly take issue with those who say something out of emotion or if they hold a different view than ours. 

We all claim to be part of this "Hobby" but it seems like some are intent on attacking others to feel better about themselves.  Why does everything have to be scrutinized under a micro-scope or everything that someone says be ripped to shreds?  And for what?  Is anything really being accomplished by telling guys like Mr. Dixon how arrogant they sound or how full of themselves they are?  I empathize and feel bad for the guy.  His "reputation" or perceived "greatness" in the Industry doesn't take anything away from anyone else.............does it?!? 

My intention was never to minimize the contribution or part that anyone plays in this Hobby.  I do apologize if my comments were taken out of context.   

I understand better now what you were trying to say Dave.  I think the couple of posts between Mr. Dixon and myself were interpreted out of context by both parties as well.
Be nice if the thread went back on track as it is an interesting topic and it would be a shame for this thread from the dead to get locked at this point.
