1969 Dodge Charger

1.  Headlights work fine on high beam BOTH SIDES, low beam only the drivers side works.  Passenger does not work at all on low beam.

** tried checking dimmer switch works fine and is new**
** New headlights all 4**
** tried grounding more on the grille frame, no difference**

2.  No Signals nowhere.

**  The cam in the steering works fine, but may be too damn old..  I guess.** no know where to start.

3.  No cluster lights. Dimmer seems to work fine but no lights on cluster.  High Beam light works although.

*  New bulbs added before installing cluster*
Possible bad dimmer switch??  Does the dimmer control the dome light as well??  might be a way to test it if it does control the dome light.  Dome light works.

4.  Wipers will not turn off as well.
**When I move to the middle position wipers speed up.  Go to high nothing happens.  Go to off wipers slow down.  Possible two speed wiper switch instead of the 3 speed one.**

I would check the bulkhead connector next for the headlight problem.

Try another turn signal flasher.

The panel dimmer switch is a common problem with cluster illumination light.   Also check the fuse.
There are only three wires on the panel switch. You can bypass the panel dimmer switch by unplugging it and putting a jumper wire between the wire that comes from the headlight switch and the wire that goes to the cluster bulbs.  The third wire turns on the dome lights but offhand I can't remember the color codes right now.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Ghoste

I don't know the number but it's a very widely used application so any reasonably competent parts retailer should have no trouble hooking you up.
