Can you get a higher resolution version? I'll use that shot if you have it in better filesize. Email it to me.

Does a member's car have to be restored?  If not, can I add my 74' Spring Special to the 2007 poster?

Its a board member poster. Anyone who is a member and has a car (let's keep it Mopar please ;D) they are eligible to be on it. All stages of projects accepted. And it seems that this is getting to be a yearly thing, so one can track their progess....or lack thereof.

My Charger wasn't on the last one and I was a member ??? so it won't be on this one either. And if the center is going by votes, you 1st and 3rd Gen guys don't stand a chance. So you might as well pick the best 69 picture. :icon_smile_blackeye:

I cannot seem to find a picture of your car to put on the poster. I use what pictures I can get and then if they meet a few basic requirements - resolution to be legible at all poster sizes and format dimensions. The format size for these is a 3 by 5 ratio so if someone sends me their car and its cropped off from tires to roof and bumper to bumper, ther is no way I can format to a 3x5 or have it cropped for the door and some of the 1/4 panel or try to create ground and sky. Either are not the best.
I am sorry you get missed last time, and I went through the "Post a picture of you Charger" thread and pulled out the ones I thought were viable. I did not get one for you. So can you please email me a nice shot and I guarantee you will be on this version.

Here's an update for today. These are only about half of the cars I have snagged and recieved. Just ran out of time for today.

Can you use my photo from the last poster?  I would like to get my 73 on there, what is the deadline, and I guess it has to be a digital photo?

Charger1973

I dont see mine on there yet  :'(  Oh well I guess I will just have to be patient.   :P

Hey, I have a question though...  Whos car is that top banana yellow one towards the lower lefthand side?  The one with the fresh paint job that isnt put back together yet.  I have that picture stored to my computer but never knew whos it was.  Ive had it for years it seems like too, so they must have put it back together by now?   ???

March 10th is the cutoff, and yes I can use your old one if you like.

Charger_Fan

Mike, that center pic definitely has my vote! :yesnod: No, it's not just because it's a 2nd gen Charger, but because of the impact one Mr. Landy's cars had on this board this year...just before he passed. IMHO it's a nice tribute, if anything & should definitely be used. :)

While I'm on a roll here, I'm gonna post more of my opinion. :icon_smile_tongue:
Folks, if you'd like to have your car on the poster...and would presumably like people to see the WHOLE car, then round up some pics of the WHOLE car, not just a hood & roof. If you notice the pics he's got so far, they're 90% of whole cars.

So whaddya say, which looks better.
This...?

Or this...?

Be honest, now. :icon_smile_tongue:                 (no, that's not my car)

Also, it doesn't need to be a pic taken last week, if you have a (nice LARGE) pic from last summer or something, then post that one. As Mike hinted to a few times this thread, the larger the pic, the better. He can reduce a large pic to look good, but blowing up a small pic just doesn't work the same, agreed? ;D
If you look through the "post a pic of your Charger" thread, you'll get an idea of the sizes he can use to make look good.

You can submit your pics by posting a pic in this thread, send (6Pkrunner) a pic in a PM, send one in an e-mail (it's in his profile, click his user name :icon_smile_wink: ), or if you have one posted somewhere else on the board, GO FIND IT...then post a link to it, so he doesn't have to go hunting for it.
Please keep in mind that 6Pkrunner is doing this in his spare time, because he enjoys it...he's not making any money off this, any money he charges is only to cover his out of pocket expenses incurred. If we can make it easier for him to do us this HUGE favor by making it easier for him to obtain good pics, I'd say we owe it to him. I'm sure you'll agree. :)

That's all, have a nice day.  :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I'm pretty sure that it has been more than a passing thought. ;D

Troy is getting the new logo together, the center that is there will stay until its replacement is located. Maybe it with the new logo and whatever, or if the masses vote on something new, or someone makes a great one. Then the logo and the dodgecharger.com will get laid...........on.

MikeD

Hi Mike

Can you add my pic from last year and do you need me to e-mail it to you.

I've kept all of last years so its not a problem. I just need people to jog this getting-older-each-day memory for me. Let me know and I'll get pictures from last year's pile.

Yes the larger image will be fine. Who's going to claim ownership of it, you or her? ;D

Already done Brian. Hard to beat that one.

41husk - here's what I got from last year.

1hot68 - I like this one better

Troy

That gold one is DPM86. 41husk's 68 is blue. It's the one parked next to CudaKen's red 69 on the older poster(s).

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Yikes a mislabeled image from last year. I see stress cracks in the ceiling......... ;D

Troy

I thought you were just checking my powers of observation. ;)

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

41husk

6pkrunner, if you look close at the back of my car is two of the many posters I got from you.  They make a good visual for shows and cruiz.

6pkrunner

Okay here is where we stand as of March 01. I have caught up on all the images. Now if you do not see yours here, there could be a few reasons for that.

1 - I only mined the "Post a picture of your Charger" thread for images. I didn't go through a bunch of threads.

2 - Some of the ones from that thread were too low of resolution to be much good for anything. If you have a higher resolution image email it or host it.

3 - the format of the image would not allow a 5x3 ratio reduction/enlargement of the picture. Take a shot with room for formating.

4- the prior years. I do not know who is still current or still wants to be included on this, so I didn't go through last year's pictures without a request from the owner. Some people drift away - whatever. If you want your old image reused - let me know.

So here it is to date.
