Hi Mike

Can you add my pic from last year and do you need me to e-mail it to you.

Thanks MikeD

I've kept all of last years so its not a problem. I just need people to jog this getting-older-each-day memory for me. Let me know and I'll get pictures from last year's pile.

Yes please put my pic in from last year.

Thanks MikeD

it's a pretty steep hill, when we were kids we all built our own coasters... it was a huge activity on my block.
that's where i got my start, trying to find matching sets of ball bearing wheels when i was six or so...
my chassis was a HUGE plank of redwood about four feet long and i had a card board box for a seat...
We carved the ends of 2x4s for axels. and nailed a rope to either end of the front axel for steering..
i had a pot of my moms' poster paint "tempra" and the redwood gobbled it up like a sponge...
i will never forget that, my first ride!

Hey, I see mine on there and didn't even ask.  What a nice guy.  I guess I'll have to buy the finished product now.  Wow, good marketing technique you got there. :icon_smile_big:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

old man

Would it be possible to put these two in for me? The other two I will have to wait for later issue.  Thanks Gary Oay they are too big I will email to you Mike.

Is there still time to get my car in and order one of those bad boy posters? Count me in!! SWEET!

6pkrunner

Okay - here it is as of March 08. We will need either 10 cars for a row, 24 for a column, or possibly 4 for the corners.
But we need a center. Ideas?

Ghoste

I thought you were going with the Dick Landy center?

It is not etched in stone to retain Mr. Landy. I used that as a working center. Some would like to see either a first or third generation Charger in there. I think that Troy should have the final say in what fills the spot. But if there are some good ideas out there........

old man

Thanks for getting the T/A on the poster. Let me know if you don't get the reemail picture of the 66 Charger. Looks great

Ghoste

Well, I'd like to see a 1st and a 3rd in there at some point, but with Landy's recent passing it did seem fitting to honor him.

1BAD68

I'd like to see this in the center, after all these are all member cars right?

A more diverse possibility for the center?

That one would be nice too. :yesnod:

Decisions, decisions...
I dunno, Dick Landy inadvertantly touched us here a little more this year than in previous years, but maybe everyone doesn't feel the same way...which would be fine too.
So, my vote would swing either way. :)

Maybe put those two (or more) centers on a new poll thread? :shruggy:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

TruckDriver

I like the Landy Center myself. But, 1BAD68's idea works too :yesnod:
