I'm converting my console set up to a column shift. Will a 318 column shift linkage set up work w/my 440 where it meets the trani'/linkage?

Mark I dont think so & you'll also need a different transmission bracket. The one you'll need is the one that comes off the trans about 4 inches long bolts to the side & has the center hole for the floor shifter to go through...from there you then need the floor shift linkage and I believe thats different from the column linkage.

I went from column to floor & used the different tranny bracket & all different linkage myself in my 69.
