I think I might have a problem.  After selling the hemi clone I was supposed to purchase another project car.  Well  like a crack whore after a Friday night I went and spent it all, purchased project after project untill all my car money was gone.  All really neat cars and complete but now I'm looking at 7 different projects that would take me 3 years to get through part time with my current full time job.  What sucked is each I found was better than the previous one.  4 cars ago I said " No more projects till I get one done!" Now tonight a aquantance that I know that has a 71 383 cuda loaded with 2 fender tags calls and says "you want the car?"  After telling me for years the car would never be for sale.  10 grand.
100 % Complete running but not driving with a collection of NOS stuff here been collecting for 7 years.  The body is in very nice shape with a mint dash. AC PWR Disc PWR Windows Almost every trim option avaiable. Thats a deal I cant pass on right?  So I'm buying project # 8.  Dipping into savings for the funds. Usually thats a no no for me.
Where does it end?  What if the next offer is something bigger and better yet?  Will I Take out an equity loan on the house?  Help me stop buying cool Mopars :-\  Is there a 1-800 number I can call next time I get the urge?  Please help.

i dont thing its a bad thing if your finding all these good deals! you just have to focus one at a time and not go back and forth from car to car if you do that, then it really will take you a long time good luck  ;D

Charger1973

Woah and I thought I was bad.  Yeah you probably have enough, better think about selling a few of those for a little profit and put the money into finishing a couple of them.  Dont want to let them sit and rot, and you will be much happier in the end.

Put a kid or two through college. That'll take any extra money you'd be spending on more projects!
Cars owned:
1968 Dodge Charger, 48k orig. miles, family owned since new.
Not a Hemi, a mini-hemi 340.

Mean 318

I don't see a problem with it unless you either cant afford it, or are keeping them out in the yard for a long time! I have friends that buy and buy... all projects/parts cars. When they go broke, they sell the best ones, and all the rest sit and rot! Nice Score on the Cuda!!!!!

Old Moparz

I just saw a rust free Challenger convertible that was missing it's motor. It was an original Hemi car, but the guy got mad one day because it didn't start so he yanked the motor & left it in his shed. You want it?  :D

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
