well...     i doubt many of you care but i just have to say what kind of night I had last night....        I found out my girlfriend was screwing someone else - so i ended up taking her best friend out for a little drive....   now my boss who is probably the coolest guy in the world let me borrow his 68 GTX convert for the weekend...        around 6:00pm i pick her up in it and of corse im Mr. cool because its a 4-speed  :METAL:      so we're cruising along this nice scenic road and all of a sudden i head >thunk, clang clang clang<    the car looses power so i roll over into a turnout on the road....      look under the car and realize the driveshaft really shouldnt be dragging one the ground....             wait 2 hours for a tow...    call my boss and tell him about it...    on and on and on...             so yes...    i had a bad night.

That's not so bad.

I thought you were going to tell us you nailed your soon to be ex-girlfriends best friend and woke up this morning with a bad case of the itchies.   :yesnod:

So, what did you do for two hours while you were waiting for the tow truck?

So long as your boss wasn't p.o., it couldn't have been that bad.  At least you had someone to spend time with.

Could be much worse.  At least you found out now.  Imagine if you married her.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

what a whore and good riddance. The only right thing to do at this point is to bang the best friend.

Sorry to hear about the car tho.

:iagree: :popcrn:
Did she make sure the joints were tight on YOUR driveshaft? :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Drive shaft ain't so bad but the cool points went out the window for sure for a little while.
Hopefully it didn't damage the underside of the car and all it is, is a new shaft and a couple uj's.

As for the girlfriend, I'm single and 40 and that has happened to me more then once, so i choose not to have a girlfriend at all.  It's just a girl and there are tons more out there.  At 20, your too young to get serious anyways.  Stick to cars, you'll be much happier.

Good luck with your boss.

And that really isn't a bad night, just a little frustrating, trust me there are worse things that could happen.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

you said I head instead of I heard, what really happened that night ;D

R_T, I know how you feel man. Its been almost two years since I found out my ex was cheating on me with not one but THREE other guys. This past weekend I found out a VERY close female friend (not a GF, past or present) has pretty much been lying to me for the past four years. After the message I left her on Saturday I don't expect to hear from her again. Women aren't worth worrying about, you've got things that are much more worthy of your time. Put your money and time into your cars and your future and let "the one" come to you. At 20 years old this is a hard thing to do. I'm the same age as you are but over the past few years I've learned to just let the chips fall as they will...

Dude too bad on that night and your ex.  At least you got to drive around in a 4-speed convertible GTX!  I found out that my girlfriend in high school had been banging my best friend (of over 10 years) just a couple months before graduation.  I didn't know until him and 2 more guys were drunk at my apartment 7 moths later when I was in college.  It happens to the best of us dude.

I'm divorced twice, and have had countless girlfriends. so remember this-  women are like tires. some are flat, some are overinflated. some are built for speed, others for comfort.  some look good, some have to many cracks, but eventually you have to always replace them.
