Fortunately I have not wrecked or had any Mopars stolen. Here is my 1979 Ramcharger back when it was nice. I drove it all through high school and had a few mishaps and a lot of fun with it. She is a sad rusty mess now sitting down in our auto graveyard.

Got hit at a red light by an F 150 4x4 doing 35mph.... killed the ford and fixed the Ram, NO BONDO JOB! The funny thing is that I was going to drive the coronet that day, but I wasnt running for shit. Am I ever glad! If I was driving her, the car would be dead, and I doubt I would be walking straight!

I thought I had pics but I dont have any on here.  My first Charger had the passenger door caved in when I got side swiped by a 77 Cutlass Supreme.

BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!! Too bad man. Id send some info into the Lost Car Registry and keep looking out for it on Ebay. It will turn up someday and somewhere.

As an aside, I went to high school with a guy who had the 383 equivilant of your missing car. Sunfire yellow, hood blackout.Had a battle with a lamp pole one night. Pole won.

Well I guess watching the unobtainable cars rot to nothingness was painful also. Lets see -

1967 hemi GTX rolling chassis. No engine, but rest was there and not in bad shape. Rotted away in the yard.

1967 Coronet R/T - 440 was pulled to put in a 1970 cuda and the rolling chassis rotted - "Not for sale!"

1969 Swinger 340 4 speed that sat beside a gravel driveway in mud for 20 years until it was dust. Tried at least 30 times to get that car - "Not for sale".

1969.5 6pack Super Bee sideswiped and the driver was killed. The car was towed to the father's driveway and the car rotted over a 20 year period or so. "That car killed one person, it will not kill another." Standard response I got at least 15 times over the years.

1969 black/black 383 4 speed road runner. Same demise as above.

Complete shaker setup for a 1970 hemi Challenger. An ordered Challenger came in minus its shaker setup (assume it was during the one again/off again shaker times). The buyer was pi$$ed and every part for a shaker setup was ordered by the dealer - hood, air cleaner, doors, cables, nuts, bolts, emblems - everything in the parts book for the entire setup. Came in and the guy had sold the car. A mechanic got the entire setup for less than cost 8 or so years later - and he never had, nor has had any Challenger. Tried many times to get the setup off of him and it was never for sale. Offered ridiculous money (for those days) and still no sale. Probably rotted away in the aluminum garden shed it sat in for years.

not my car, but i knew about a 71 rt charger (6 pack) that was destroyed in a high speed wreck many years ago (20+) the guy i think may have been drunk? the car flipped end over end a total wreck...but when i got my charger the guy i bought it from had the rt lights from that wrecked rt (not on my car) so i guess a few things were taken off it sorry i have no pics of it. also his dumb ass brother had a 71 super bee there was a dispute between the brothers over $ (storage fees) the brother who had the rt took the super bee and stored it outside (near the beach) for 7+ years...needless to say its a rust pile of junk now (i have pics of it) 2 cool car's 2 dumb ass brothers i guess ignornace runs in that family!

Scrapping a 65 Coronet 500 for $35.00 in 95.All it needed was paint and a head gasket.I was moving and couldn't take it with me,no storage,no one wanted to buy it.Oh, and 2 parts cars worth of parts were scrapped too.I should have scrapped the wife( now ex) then instead.

  damn     awesome roadrunner  , sorry to hear that .  not the ideal car to steel without getting spotted , must of wanted that one real bad , drove it straight in to a  enclosed trailer or something.

Probably oversees or at least out of the country by now. The other alternative of being cut up for parts is even worse.

72 Duster 340 4spd. hit by drunk driver, driving stolen car. Car was parked in front of my house in Fl. He fled scene, my car totalled. Never caught him that I know of.

Nothing too tragic for me, I never had enough money for anything nice.   

There were two cars I wish I had kept though, a 1970 GTX & a 1969 Charger SE. The GTX at the time, was more expensive to repair than to find another in better shape. The Charger was a constant headache & starting to rust out, so I sold it cheap. I only wish I had it for a parts car now since I could have used lots of stuff off it for my current Charger. It had "ALL" the trim & an absolutely "MINT" tan interior.

I paid $400 for the GTX back around 1983. The previous owner had blown the motor the day he bought it & instead of fixing it, had found a 1971 'Cuda. I was looking for a 1969 Charger body to replace the rusted one I had, but couldn't. I started to look at other B-Body cars & ran across the GTX. I went to see it & bought it. The body was nice, had some very minor issues as well as having lots of red fur in the interior. 

I had it flatbedded home, but the driver dragged it onto the flatbed backwards to save himself time because of where it was parked. I got a call from a friend while I waited for the GTX & he said "Bob!!...I just saw your GTX going down the road & the driver's side was all messed up. I didn't believe him thinking he was joking, but when the car arrived I saw that he wasn't. The door was never latched shut & had opened up along the way & tried to cut down a tree & lost.

The door was an accordion, the hinge post was misaligned by over almost 2 inches, the fender was damaged by the door, the hood needed some work, & the car still needed a motor. 

The estimate was $600 to fix & the towing outfit refused to pay. It got dragged out 6 months & almost went to court. The week before the court date, the owner's lawyer cut me a check. When it cleared I withdrew the claim, but kind of lost interest in the car. I did gather parts for it, but sold it a couple of years later when I found my rust free, 1969 Satellite convertible for $450 that I still have.

Two summers ago I got the bug for another 1970 GTX, but found a 1970 Road Runner I couldn't pass on & got that instead. Here's some pix of the GTX, a 440 automatic with console, no air grabber, no P/S, no P/B, & drums all around. The only option in it was the AM-8 Track player with 3 speakers in the dash. It had a Road Runner grille & a repaint in the lighter shade of blue. I think it was originally B-5 with a white interior that was painted black.
