Hey does anyone know if that black Charger in the movie "Fast and the Furious" was actually wrecked, or during the actual crash did they use a mock up?  ???

I thought it was interesting that during the original filming of the movie "Vanishing Point", the Challenger they smashed was actually a white Camaro!

After I heard that, I watched the movie on DVD and paused it after the accident and zoomed in on the wreckage... and sure enough, they used a Camaro!

They wrecked the Charger in F&F - but the blower is fake.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Well, thats funny that the blower was fake. I'll have to watch that again.

That was a commercial for Mr. Clean's Auto Dry Car Wash System!

As for the Smashed up Charger from F&F, it originally was bought by the Volo Musuem with a price tag of $50,000 for a smashed, rusty, no interior, car missing the blower of course. The car was then seen again painted green for Herby: Fully Loaded in the junkyard scene. How it went from the Volo Museum to there is beyond me. The Volo website no longer lists the car in their museum. So did Herby buy the car for $50,000 only to use it in one scene? Where is the car now?  ???
