How common were small block 4 speed 68-70 chargers? Are they worth sticking money into?

UFO

Small block 4 spd,  Could be 1 of a kind.

Looking at production #'s I only see that 318 3 speed manuals were offered from 68-70 and there were not many of those made.

pretty much what people are telling you is small blocks never got 4-speeds in 68-70 chargers....     - you could make one however - use a basic 23 spline A-833 transmission

I am looking at the white book from Galen.

My '68 book is at the shop but in 1969 there were 716 built and in 1970 there were 192 Charger's and 82 Charger 500's built with the 318 3 speed combo.

Considering a complete 68 charger that has a 318 4 speed. Needs typical resto.Price is around $3-$4k.
Considering it because it's a 4 speed.No pics.Price sound fair?

At this point 3-4K for any 68-70 Charger is pretty good. Big factors are the rust issues and missing parts that cost a lot to replace. If it is complete and needs normal but not tons of rust repair I would say it is a decent price.

The 4 speed adds a fun factor regardless of whether it is original or not. Check to make sure it is not a hack job 4 speed conversion if the car was an automatic.
