The city of Medford, Oregon is considering purchasing the artwork of one of three artists for a round about inside the city limits and a friend of mine is one of the finalists. I like his piece more than the other two or I probably wouldn't be here touting it. His name is Jesse and if you click on the top link you can view the pieces and vote.

FWIW, Jesse's is the most colorful and interesting to me. The one of the kids and dog is nice but pretty trite, like you'd see the same scene in a yard five blocks down the street. Just the sight of the other one annoys me for some reason.

Anyway, check it out if you've got a minute.

I bet that's a heavy piece of art. :)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
