do carb addapters really help at all?

i wanna put a 600 4-barrel in the place of my old 2-barell carter w/stock intake, will a 4-barell adapter work, i heard it will be like having a 2-barell and it isnt worth it. i wont spend the 200 bucks 4 an intake.

Shop around for a cheaper intake.

Get a 4-barrell intake its like having a 2inch pipe go into a 1 inch pipe you really lose the effect.

I agree with the others....get a 4bbl manifold.
