Would you sell...

Silver R/T

Would you sell your Charger if someone came up to you and offered you price well worth it? Would you sell it to make profit or in hopes that you can find that R/T in combo that you want. I've got 68 silver R/T with red stripe and black interior. Pretty cool combo imo. I don't think Id sell it for what's its worth or even more. I probably would've sell one if it was just green (no offense to owners with green Chargers) plain slant 6 or 318 with column shift.

Nope. I would because of the sentimental value. My dad got it for me as a Xmas present back in 98.

I would sell to find an r/t like the blue 4spd that 69charger2002 bought then tried to sell 2 days later

Supercharged Riot

What is your point exactly Silver? You have the car you've always wanted, correct, now you have a chance to sell it? You really like to start weird topics don't you. I have and many others on line here have bought and sold quite a few mopars/chargers over the past 20 years. I've made money, and lost. Regrets, yes and no. Again, whats your freakin' point dude?  :image_294343: I'm gonna jump and say SELL IT!

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

I would, but then, I mistakenly sold my "keeper" many years ago.

If somebody put an obscene amount of money in my face, I might think about it,
But odds are that I would not sell. It took me a long time to get my Charger R/T
looking and running as good as it does. I any of you guys who have Chargers ever
think about selling, you need to take your Charger for a good long drive before
you sell it. That should change your mind.  Just my  :Twocents:

I could not sell my '70.  Even though it is a 318 car and starting to suffer from rust due to being a daily driver for so many years.  I have been offered way more than the car is worth a number of times, but I can't imagine owning a car I enjoy more.  I mean a 4 spd R/T would be great, but not at the risk of losing my '70.  My dad even tried to convince me to get rid of the '70 by offering to help me buy a 911 15 years ago...I still have the 70 and who knows what happened to the 911.

The only way I would sell one of my charger projects is to obtain a much rarer, more desireable one.  My /6, 383-2bbl. 4-speed, and my 4-speed RTs are off the list as there are very few chargers that fit the above catagory to make me sell them.  I have a rule that I follow: I only upgrade and never downgrade (unless absolutely forced to).....

I'd sell an RT to buy a non RT and have some money left over to spend on it :icon_smile_big:

I've had people knock on the front door to inquire if i'd sell the charger in the garage before, for more than I thought it was worth at the time, and didn't sell it then, and I doubt I'd sell it now if someone just offered its "real" value of 25k-35k.  But if someone came up with insane money, like around 50k, I'd have to seriously consider it.  Even though it was my first car purchased as a teenager, and despite that its one of very few similarly optioned real R/T SE cars, I'd probably sell it.  Without a numbers matching block (had the orig motor when i got it) it will never be a 100k collectible not without a full resto, but it would be a very strong candidate for a rotisserie restoration considering it has almost no rust and all the original pieces are there and there can't be more than 5 of them like it still.

I honestly don't think I could, and it was just a plain Jane 318 charger. But I'm making it my own, the 318 is in my Garage, the 360ish ;) that was in it is sold, and it's 440 is on it's way. the column shift is not a console, the clock is now a Tic Toc Tac, the color is about to change and the rear end is now getting an upgrade to 3.91's.

I have to much blood.... literally... in this car.

But one just never knows.

I am afraid for the right price, I would move any of my cars.  I would probably regret it, i have regretted getting rid of others.

The Bronze R/T SE I had...  It's color combo GREW on me, but I'm hoping to find a B7 blue '69...  That's a PRETTY TALL ORDER, I know (that color is super rare).  I want to keep it original, and so-far black or B7 is what I want.  I don't regret selling the T7 car.  You can always find another one.

Same here regarding my 383-2bbl. 4-speed, although I'd be very tempted to liquidate and buy one that's finished if I got a great offer on mine. If I had it to do over again I'd probably buy one finshed.

SuBLimE 69

I'm only selling mine to fund the R/T resto.  I'd never have the money to finsih it otherwise....but if I hadn't found such a nice R/T i'd keep the green one for sure....I was almost finished getting it the way I wanted it too  ::)

This ticket is only $69.00 ?  If I'd have known that I'd have been going FASTER !

I would sell, but only to get the charger of my dreams, or maybe invest the $ into property, then sell later and THEN buy the charger of my dreams. btw silver, my charger is green and my dream charger would be green too  ;D

There are a couple of cars that could entice me to sell, like a 69 hemi charger 4spd Dana car, or a 69 six pack superbee, or even a real nice ac cobra replica car, or even a 70 GTO judge, but i don't think i'd sell it just to buy a new car like a viper or shelby.  It'd have to be a trade up to a car I thought was a better cruising car or high value car.  I'd want enough to be able to buy one already finished though, i'm getting tired of waiting around to get this car back on the road again.  I'm averaging 15 hrs a week on the car as it is.

I'm not in it for the money. I got my car 12 years ago because of my love for Chargers................... That being said, if some yahoo offered me STUPID MONEY for my car.............. :D

lol....na, I'm not selling. :icon_smile_wink:

It would depend on several factors, like if the buyer had nice legs, nice butt, firm breasts (not big either) & a lot of cash.
