I have some various big block engine parts I am considering getting rid of and was wondering what the average values are for them.

Numerous sets of 906 heads

2 383 steel cranks

crank and rods with pistons from a 69 new Yorker one seized/spun bearing on a rod journal.

many water pump housings

many clutch fans

a few power steering pumps

a few stock big block 4 bbl intakes of various years

and probably some other stuff I can't think of right now.

Looking to thin out my 25 year collection of stuff that I figure I'll never use. Thanks in advance for any replies.

most guys arent willing to spend any more than scrap value for the stuff you have listed-due to the gambel of buying used parts from some one they dont know, detalied pics will help your case!

Let's just say this stuff could go pretty cheaply and I wouldn't be upset.

I would say that your more desireable items are the clutch fans and the water pump housings.  the crank rod piston market is very different now that companies like 440source can provide you with cheap new stuff.  was not this way 10 years ago, I can tell you that.  I was so close to blowing 3500 bucks on a 496 stroker kit from muscle motors but my engine shop talked me out of it, told me to play with a stock 440 first, turns out it was good advice.

What kind of stuff did they recommend to you for your 440? I have a steel crank 73 440 from a dodge pickup in my garage.
