This car is a true 69 500.  They may post updates in the future.  You can see more of it at http://www.joeysplace.com/cgi-bin/newsletter/newsletter.cgi?db=default&sb=1&uid=default&view_records=1&ID=*

I've been there several times over the past couple of years...it's enough to make you drool uncontrollably!
There's already over 1600 hours of restoration time into that 500. And counting.

I'd like to see how far along they are with that 500 being restored. At 1600 hours already, if the hourly rate is at $55.00 an hour, which most shops are for restoration type work. They've racked up $88000.00 dollars. I hope the owner of the car realizes that as of now.
Edit:  I logged onto the web site for Joeys. Man, car isn't even painted yet let alone put back together. That will be I bet close to a 150 grand when done, if not more. Gees, I miss having those types of customers around.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

Big Lebowski

My '70 roadrunner quote for just metal work was 80 hrs. at 75.00 an hr. For new qtrs, trunk floor, extensions, minor dents, fill trim holes, etc,. :icon_smile_big:
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

Joey's shop rate is $65 per hour.  Not too much comes out of that shop for less than 100G.  Ouch!  Out of my league  :o
