Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

70charger_boy

Well, Jimi played a Fender and the other Jimi played a Gibson.............so...................... ???

73chgrSE

That's a tough one. I'ld personally go with Gibson with Jackson a close second I guess. But if I was playing blues I may grab a Fender strat. Only USA models on all of these ofcourse. :icon_smile_tongue:

JimShine

Most guitars can be decent if the hardware is of medium to high quality, the frets are properly dressed and the setup is right.

Should note that standard USA Fender/Jacksons are made in the same plant along side each other. Guild and Charvel is made there too.

Ibanez is a brand name only. The factory that builds those (Fujigen Gakki) also makes Japan Fender, Westone, Squier, as well as many more names.

Personally I prefered my Epiphone Demon V over the other ones Ive had. I sold it not too long ago to buy my bass. I also like my buddies Explorer, I play it every tme I go over there.

2007 Magnum R/T. 5.7 Family wagon.

That demon V is a copy of a Jackson Rhoads V. I had a few first year Rhoads V's over the years, Nice, but hard to sit down and play. They were designed to put the guitar in a sort of classical guitar position when seated (like Randy liked to hold them).

Manfred318

The friend of mine that has the Explorer had a Rhoads V that I really liked but I couldn't afford one thats why I bought the Epi version, I think I paid about $170 for it on Ebay a few years ago. I don't know how much they were new but I figured that wasn't a bad price. Heres a pic of my friend playing it in our band last year.

That I have no rhythm or sense of timing.

The best guitar is whatever I happen to have the opportuntiy to play at any given time. Not that I make it the best. No guitar is great unless someone is playing it.

Vainglory, Esq.

Hey Manfred, you guys must really hate the Misfits.

my vote goes to this one here..

Older Gibsons and Fenders are GREAT!
