Yep (see the name). I believe they were a wanna-be rap group but they turned into whipping boys on the internet. I think their web site had a "comments" section at one point and it was brutal.

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I would have loved to have seen that.

Since it's been a while with no wreck pics, I figured this is appropriate...this thread has NO BRAKES! :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Ghoste

STOP IT!!!  Must resist...can't... must slow down... must hold up traffic... must... OH! and there it is, another headless body.  Yeah baby!

Chris G.

The train wreck pics are getting old real fast....however, at least you guys are posting pics of what you want us to see. That's more than the CPunk has done.

ps- CP lives on google, youtube, etc. You guys think he searched for hours/days trying to find a Daytona that he could pass off in this thread so he could be the hero?  :scratchchin: I'm betting he did.  :P

69_500

You think he only searched for hours? I think it was more like he has been searching for over a year. :)

He can keep searching until he is 50 for that matter he won't find one.

tan top

just been checking out the mod top site again , i wonder why chrysler   never offered this on a second generation  .as there seems to have been a  quite a few built . :scratchchin: seems to have been popular on Y2 A-Body barracudas ..for some reason

If it was available on Coronets you might think that it was possible to get one on a Charger..?  :shruggy:

You'd think that, but it didn't happen -- which is what my objection has been to C/P's whole premise that a ModTop Charger (much less a Daytona) was ever produced by Chrysler.  There's just no evidence that it was even available.  Don't forget that the roof of a Charger or a Daytona would have been longer/bigger than a Coronet's.  Even if someone ordered a replacement ModTop with the intention of retro-fitting it to a Charger/Daytona, chances are that there would not have been enough material to cover the roof, sail panels and rear window area.  Coronets really did have short sail panels - sorta Road-Runnerish.

Oh, and here's my train wreck picture - from May of '69 no less!

Ghoste

Charger buyers had more taste.  :P

69bronzeT5

Well, my project next week is building a modtop Daytona just like Matt described the one he saw. F8 Green, black interior, green modtop, bent rear wing, no nose cone, rusty.

Hey we were talking about the whole modtop b body this weekend. I remember seeing a Superbee with a mod top, but I don't recall ever seeing any other B bodies with a mod top other than a Superbee, and a coronet.

I thought you owned the office?

Yeah, but what kind of example/precedent would I be setting?  Worse yet, my Dad still works in the office.  Even though I own 100% of the stock in this company, he's not shy about giving me what-for.

Ghoste

Everyone thinks their boss is nuts anyway.  CP should use that train pic for an avatar.
