California is a biiiiiiig state.  I'm probably 12 hours North of you and still in California...and there's still another 3-1/2 to 4 hours North of me to get to the Oregon border.  May have to split things up into Southern, Central, and Northern.

We'd like to end up in central coast area if we could but real estate is prohibitive. Maybe someday I'll sell everything and buy a 1/32 acre lot for a million.

Used to go to the bay area about 3-4 times a year spending about 4-6 weeks total but now just once a year or so, we'll be in S.F and Monterey in late July.

Luckily we now have annual training seminars in the Monterey area. I'd really like to live in Pacific Grove!!

Ok, I gotta call you out on this one.

It is 7.5 hours from San Diego to San Fran.

It is 13.5 hours(at the worst) from San Diego to D Norte.

Your math is a little of here brother, :icon_smile_big:

For the record, I was born in San Fran.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
