Metal work has begun on my Charger

The metal work has started on my car.  I am hoping to have it back by April.  Here is a picture of my Charger before it went in.  I was a little upset to find out that there was a boat load of bondo on the drivers side sail panel.  At some point, the 1/4 was replaced.  Whoever did it, didn't do a very good job.  The drivers side front fender also had bondo in it.  I am going to have them fill in the side marker lights too.  The front valance, rear valance, end caps, inside part of the sail panels and tail panel will all be replaced.  I will post more pics as I get them.

More pics.  I am also going to put the original hood back on.  The hood that is on it right now will be for sale if anyone is interested.

Yes, I am going with the same color.  I was told from the previous owner that it was painted Porsche Amazon Green with Blue Pearl.  I am also going to put the bumble bee stripe on, but it will be painted as well.

Looks like a very solid, straight car to me too.

Keep us informed on how it goes.

Looks familiar. Why are you filling in the marker light holes? The round markers are cool.

My Charger is coming along.  Here are a few pictures of how it looked as of Monday the 9th.  I'm a little pissed because the body shop broke the windshield when they took it out, but they are going to work with me and their glass guy to get me a replacement at cost.

Looking great!  I may be wrong here but if they broke the windshield taking it out wouldn't they be responsible for replacing it?  At any rate keep the pictures coming  :yesnod:

you got some sort of custom dash thing going on in there?  looks cool...

If you feel like telling...What is that going to run you? I'm going to get body work done soon and I'm wondering what I'm in for.

Airborne-  I am responsible for it.  They are working with me to get it replaced at cost.

dkn1997- It is a custom dash.  Autometer gauges and some kind of fabric/carpet covering the rest of the dash.  I don't like the carpet, but I do like the Autometers.

Harlow-  I am in body shop hell right now.  I am over on cost x2 right now.  Do your research before you bring it anywhere.  If you can, get the quote in writing before any work is done.  I was told 15K, now I'm at 30K and not very happy.  I feel like every time they call for a payment, that I am making their payroll for them.  I am going to a meeting next week with the owner and I am going to get my car out of there before I am completely broke.  Oh yeah, that's with me buying all the parts too. :flame:
