I have so many car projects that cars are beginning to be no fun any more

TruckDriver

Ebay has the body manuals all the time. So does Year One & The Paddock. I don't believe there actually is any restoration books that are just for 72 Charger.

My Dad taught me about TIME TRAVEL.

There was a third gen restoration guide book out some time ago I was looking for it in particular, I have maint. manuals up the wazoo.
Searched ebay found service manuals & sales garbage mainly some stuff for 2nd gen Chargers not much for 3rd gen cars.
Like on my Corvetts I have Assembly manuals, copies of enginering drawings on how to assemble the cars thats what I was looking for, all kinds of usefull info in them.

I've never seen one.. :shruggy:....just the service manuals.

If you're used to working on Chevies, you're in for a BIG surprise when you take on a Mopar...Especially  Third generation Chargers....Need a new fender for that '72?  Good Luck!  How about a nice pair of reproduction quarter panels?  HAH !  They don't exist...Trunk floor rotted out?  Too bad-find a good used one...

Air grabber hood? Power bulge hood?   Big bucks IF you can find one.

Good luck... and if you decide to give up on it I'm looking for a '72 SE project ;)

Doright

Naw not giving up just yet floors are solid trunk is solid.
Yep I know they dont make squat for 3rd gen's as compared to others.

Door seals have me botherd for repaint right now, for the most part.

Your right about big bucks for a hood!       Looking for a parts car for the most part found a realy nice Ralley 4 sp 400 car right off the bat after I bought this one on ebat but no title real shame car was worth saving.

The only reason I am willing to save this one was the fact that this was a matching numbers U code 440 with the Sun Roof in the SE all power windows and roof and a white interior makes it a bit different.   oh and the paint code GY9????? any body know what its sopossed to look like?
