68 charger radiator support blackout on a black car???

Yeah, I always heard the darker colors were not blacked out but when I went to restore a rare 1 of 1 Black T/A Challenger I was sure to look very very closely at this area & it indeed was Flat black to my surprise. So I restored back this way since what is right is how your car originally came. I'd say some black cars come both ways & only way that is right is how yours originally came from factory. Problem is if your car has been restored 10 times by 10 differennt owners then you'll never know? Just my Opinion. LEON.
